Screen Printed Shirts

Finally got my shirts back from the screen printers and they turned out great.    These are going straight to my Etsy Shop at She Who Doodles.  

The first batch is always the most expensive to have printed.  Once the screens are set up the actual print per shirt charge is pretty minimal. 


If these sell well I will need to find a source for a better price shirts.  So far I've just picked up what I could find retail. 

They were fun to do and the ideas for the next ones are already on my mind. 

I have a couple of guys that ask if I had any large sizes, I though they were a little feminine but I could change the design a little to accommodate.   My honey bought a plain white shirt he wants me to hand doodle.  So I guess I'll see what I can come up with. 

I find myself looking at other clothing items with an eye for doodling.  I guess there is no limit to what I can put my doodles on.

    The low cost of screen printed t shirtsscreen printed t shirts come with good quality materials which will not deprive the individual from enjoying the comfort offered by a t shirt with screen printed design on it.

UGH!!!  Social Media will be my undoing.  I recently took a class on how to use social media to help market my art.  So I've been making changes, searching groups, put myself out there more.  Now I need to double the time I scan thru my FB pages and discovered that it was worth while posting more frequently to Instagram .  Twitter gets caught in the middle somewhere.  And then there is Pinterest , my Etsy shop and this blog.   So for starters I thought I needed to add all the social media icons to my blog but couldn't find any I liked so doodled my own.  It's been a while since I posted any new work.  Last summer I was lucky to get a lot of bees on blooms so this is the results.  The Bees have it.   These were fun,  I still have a few more photos with bees I hope to add to this series.  A little lighter touch with the pen and some added pen and ink doodles.   If you like them I will have them available this summer at the art fairs on my events list.   Thanks for visiting. My Zazzle Shop

 I've been putting my designs on products over at Zazzle.com for awhile now but realized I had never really posted much about it.  I do have a Zazzle tab above. But here are a few of my best selling items.   I started doing it at Christmas when my grandson wanted an apron with my doodle design for his girlfriend.  Since I hadn't done any screen printed designs like I had done previously, Zazzle was the easiest way to get my designs on a product in time for him to give at Christmas.  Once I got started I couldn't stop.  Check out my shop, not only are there aprons and tote bags, but pillows, mugs, office accessories.  You can also customize some of the items.   Summer art events are beginning to come back this year.  So excited to have the opportunity to participate again this summer.   It's been a long year without the art fairs to sell my art.  Watch my Events page for updates on summer events.   Thanks for...
