She Who Doodles

Have you ever had a project on your work desk that you just can't get finished?  We'll this chair has been here since before Christmas, I haven't been happy with it and keep making changes.   My plan is to use it in my booth come summer sales as a display piece.  I was so excited when I bought it because the cane was intact that I failed to notice the broken leg.  So displaying art pieces and pillows is what I will use it for.    I'm joining in over at Julia's Stamping Ground today to see what everyone else is working on.   Hopefully before next Wednesday this will be off my desk.  What's on your Workdesk today? Thanks for visiting. Hugs Cyndee

Time for the weekly What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.  Follow the link to find out what I am talking about.   http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/2013/12/whats-on-your-workdesk-wednesday-236.html I'm posting this from my iPad and I still don't like the Blogger app it just doesn't do what my PC will do.  But it is handy.  Can't do without it anymore.   I am working on a little jewel box.  The top is covered with some tiles I made with polymer clay.  Then I embellished it with beads and other found treasures.  The box itself is covered with paper, I may doodle a little around the edges, not sure yet.  It's a piece that has taken on a mind of it's own.  So we shall see where it takes me.   So that's where I am this sunny Wednesday afternoon.   Have a great day, thanks for visiting. Here we go again, a day late.  But I had this brainstorm.  We need a different view of our work space.  We always show the desk top and what we are working on but here's another view. The piles of stuff that there just is no place for.  The magazines I can't get rid of  because they have some great ideas I want to try.  The finished work in frames that stand against the wall and all the stuff on the floor around my table that I want close at hand.   It's endless,  never enough space for all the stuff.  But if it were neat and all put away I wouldn't have the inspiration.  It's Thursday and Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday was yesterday, and I figure with as many that join in it takes a few days to check everybody out.  So nobody will realize I late, again.  If you are wondering what I'm talking about and haven't joined in yet, check out Julia page.  We get to peek at workspaces all over the world.  It's fa...

So I'm a day late, that's how retirement goes these days.  Can't complain,  if it doesn't happen today I'll get to it tomorrow, maybe. Wanted you all over at Julia's Stamping Ground to see my workdesk this week.  Since my doodling goes with me, I can work from anyplace.  I really wanted to be outside, we've had really warm weather and I wanted to enjoy it while it last. I'm working on a piece for a gallery submission.  The show is Black & White, have to have it submitted by the 15th. Just another little addition to my Etsy Shop I wanted to show you,  I started making prints of my doodles in ACEO size.  I started with 4 different prints, 2 of them are the ones shown in the Sep/Oct issue of Cloth Paper Scissors . Hope everybody is busy crafting. Have a great day. Thanks for visiting. Hugs Cyndee On Thursday check out Meri's Blog for Share the Joy Thursday .

My work desk this week happens to be on the kitchen counter. Seems like my workspace is any place that works for the project at the moment. I'm actually working on something new. This my first attempt a doodling on glass tiles. What do you think, do you think they might sell? I'm joining in WOYWW (What's on your work desk Wednesday), over at Julia's .  Thanks for visiting. Hugs Cyndee

I thought it was time to step out with She Who Doodles so thought I would join in WOYWW, over at Julia's Stamping Ground.   Julie host this web hop every Wednesday, check it out, come join in.  It's a chance to show off your workspace and see where other artist work. So here's my workdesk today,  only a small snippet of the space but wanted to show the Valentine cards I'm working on.  This is just one of the designs,  I have 2 others I hope to get printed and posted to my Etsy Store for She Who Doodles by the end of the week. Check out my shop at Etsy to see the verse I used in the card.  I like to keep them kinda generic so the card could be given to anyone.  So many valentines have mushy lovey verses that aren't suitable to give to a friend.  So I found some whimsical little verses that hopefully will put a smile on the receivers face. Thanks for visiting, now hop on over to Julia's to see what everyone else is up to. Hugs Cyndee ...
