ihanna's postcard swap

Image
I've joined ihanna's Autumn postcard swap and mine are ready for the mail.  I did one of these last year that Hanna hosted and really enjoyed making and receiving the postcards from around the world.  Since I doodle on postcard size cards it was an easy project,  I just needed to figure out how to incorporate the theme.  Since my designs are all about freedom, no boundaries, spontaneity they were perfect for this swaps theme. Here's my five, to contribute to the Empowerment themed swap.  Although they are a little late getting in the mail box, they will be on their way to Canada, the UK, Virgin Island and right here in the US of A.  So along with Christmas cards in the mail box I will be anxiously awaiting 5 postcards to arrive from around the world.  It's awesome to see how the theme is interpreted on each card. Check ihanna's webpage to see what others are sending. Thanks for visiting.  Have a great day. Hugs Cyndee

Screen Printed Shirts

Finally got my shirts back from the screen printers and they turned out great.    These are going straight to my Etsy Shop at She Who Doodles.   The first batch is always the most expensive to have printed.  Once the screens are set up the actual print per shirt charge is pretty minimal.  If these sell well I will need to find a source for a better price shirts.  So far I've just picked up what I could find retail.  They were fun to do and the ideas for the next ones are already on my mind.  I have a couple of guys that ask if I had any large sizes, I though they were a little feminine but I could change the design a little to accommodate.   My honey bought a plain white shirt he wants me to hand doodle.  So I guess I'll see what I can come up with.  I find myself looking at other clothing items with an eye for doodling.  I guess there is no limit to what I can put my doodles on.   Thanks for visiting. Hugs, Cyndee

Ready for the screenprinter

Finally got a shirt design on paper, just need to get it scanned and sent to the screen printers.  Got shirts, bold colors.  It seems so easy to draw the design on the shirts, I really struggled getting it on paper.    Hopefully I'll have these added to Etsy for sale within the next couple of weeks.  I bought an array of sizes but can always get more printed.  More to do, Christmas Sale coming up on Nov 17 at the Old Library on the Marylhurst Campus.   Thanks for visiting.
