One More Project

Image
One more sale this weekend and I'm done for this year.  Time to think about some projects I want to do not just items to sell.  My daughter has this big large empty wall in her living room so I thought I'd tackle a painting.  Not my usual art form.  Especially this size.  Since the canvas I bought is 30" x 40" the largest I've ever tackled.  So I painted, I cut and paste, painted some more.  Then started the process again,  more cutting and pasting.  Procrastinating is what it's called.  I'm having a hard time tackling the red poppies.  There will be no going back once I put the red paint on the canvas. Finally, the poppies start to appear, then more grass, maybe some more poppies now that I got the hang of it.  That wasn't so bad after all.     But it needs some final detail.  A butterfly,  and a little Happiness character.  Ready to hang.     ...

Feeling Inspired

Featured Artist

Just a little excitement today I discovered I am the Featured Artist on Dharma Trading Company  website. I had purchased some fabric pens from their website to paint my Toms shoes.  I noticed back in July they were looking for artist submission.  So I sent in a response along with photos then proceeded to forget about it.  You just can't sit and wait for a response every time you submit something. These are the products I bought and tried them all.    Dharma Products Used Tee Juice Fabric Markers - 3 Sizes Identipen Dual Tip Fabric Pens Deco Just Glitter Fabric Markers   I was just so excited I needed to share this with my followers.  Exposure is always a good thing.  Also, this tells me to keep submitting my work.  I get discouraged at times,  I know my work doesn't appeal to everyone, which is fine I understand that,  I do what I like for me.  But it just means I need to reach furt...
