Geez I can't believe how longs it been since I updated with my new work.  As a doodler I'm always looking for something to put my designs on other then just a piece of paper.  A while back I found these wood mushrooms at the craft store and brought one home thinking I could do something with it.  Well, I just finished my 30th mushroom yesterday and thought it was time to show you what I've been doing.

I have doodled the designs by hand with black permanent ink using a Micron pen.  Each one is different and numbered, about 4" tall.  I have done 30 of them as of yesterday.  My August vendor events will be the first time I've shown them for sale, although I have sold a few .  

Of course I'm still doing my enhanced photos/doodled photos.  Love taking the photos, and spring does not disappoint.  Last summer I visited some interesting new nurserys and toured some private gardens.  So have had lots of new photos to do my pen and ink doodles to.  I been able to tour private gardens thru my membership with the Hardy Plant Society of Oregon.  Also toured Lux Perrenial Gardens and Nursery  Here's a sample of some of my newest work.  Including a doodled photo of my grand puppy.  
Be sure to check my Coming Events page for info about Art Fair events I will be participate at.  August is going to be a busy month for me this year.  A Sunflower Festival,  an art and music festival,  and a vintage and art festival.

 This Pandemic has caused so many changes to our lives this year.  Like so many we, Artist, have lost our source of income.  Summer art fairs and festivals were cancelled and the holiday bazaars.  Which means we need to have a better online presents.  Which I have been working on recently.   I have returned to my Etsy Shop  and added new work to my Zazzle Shop .  I've created lots of new products on Zazzle, even put some designs on products related to home office .    These collections, using my original designs each include a mug, mouse pad, and coaster.  A couple of them include a comfy pillow for your desk chair, one has a matching tote bag when you do need to make that trip to the company office.  Currently my Etsy shop is stocked with my new work, mostly from this year.  I'm trying to get all my work completed during the Pandemic posted.  Then hope to get some  holiday gift ideas posted too. ...

 It's been a while since I posted any new work.  Last summer I was lucky to get a lot of bees on blooms so this is the results.  The Bees have it.   These were fun,  I still have a few more photos with bees I hope to add to this series.  A little lighter touch with the pen and some added pen and ink doodles.   If you like them I will have them available this summer at the art fairs on my events list.   Thanks for visiting. My Zazzle Shop

 I've been putting my designs on products over at Zazzle.com for awhile now but realized I had never really posted much about it.  I do have a Zazzle tab above. But here are a few of my best selling items.   I started doing it at Christmas when my grandson wanted an apron with my doodle design for his girlfriend.  Since I hadn't done any screen printed designs like I had done previously, Zazzle was the easiest way to get my designs on a product in time for him to give at Christmas.  Once I got started I couldn't stop.  Check out my shop, not only are there aprons and tote bags, but pillows, mugs, office accessories.  You can also customize some of the items.   Summer art events are beginning to come back this year.  So excited to have the opportunity to participate again this summer.   It's been a long year without the art fairs to sell my art.  Watch my Events page for updates on summer events.   Thanks for...
